Broncos earn 3-set sweep over Claflin

FAYETTEVILLE, NC –The Fayetteville State volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory (25-19, 25-17, 25-17) against the Claflin Panthers Monday at home at Felton J Capel Arena. The conference victory improved Fayetteville State’s record to 15-12 overall and 12-3 in CIAA play. Claflin is now 9-10 overall and 5-9 in the conference. Chiara Vittoni finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Broncos attack. Nikole Akamine also pitched in with seven in the contest.
