The race, a 6k event, will feature 39 teams, with the top two finishers earning automatic qualification for the NCAA Championships. The Aztecs performed well at the Mountain West Championships, finishing 7th with a record-breaking team time. Jessica Kain and Vanessa Cabello have been standout performers for SDSU this season. San Diego State’s highest placement at a regional meet was in 2005 when they finished 7th.
