Zach Arnett fired; 5 candidates for Mississippi State HC job
STARKVILLE, Miss. (BVM) – Mississippi State decided to get a jumpstart on its offseason plans, announcing that it would be letting go of head coach Zach Arnett following his recent loss to Texas A&M.

Arnett was tasked with taking over the Bulldogs program following the unfortunate loss of head coach Mike Leach last December. With a decision to move away from Leach’s Air Raid offense heading into the year, Mississippi State had struggled so far this season with putting points on the board. Arnett concludes his time with the Bulldogs with a 5-6 record.
