Nevada enters break on two-game streak
NEVADA, Mo. — Nevada topped Harrisonville on Tuesday night to claim its second straight win after a win on Saturday in the 7th-place game of the Butler Tournament. The Tigers (5-5) beat Harrisonville (7-4) 85-65 behind 32 points from Jack Cheaney. Nevada’s head coach Shaun Gray considered this to be a “big Class 4 District 13 matchup with postseason implications.” His group trailed 15-12 after the opening quarter but took over from there.
