Top Illinois sophomore quarterback transfers

Jonas Williams, the top sophomore quarterback in the state of Illinois, announced Tuesday he had transferred to Lincoln-Way East High School. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Williams, who already holds several early Division I scholarship offers, was one of the state’s top quarterbacks the past two seasons at Bolingbrook – where he accounted for 2,950 yards and 31 touchdowns as a sophomore – and now joins a Lincoln-Way East squad that finished as the runner-up in Class 8A the past two seasons.
