Caldwell Women’s Basketball Team Falls Short in Thriller Against National #3/#4 Jefferson, Despite Strong Performances
CALDWELL, N.J. -- Sophomore guard Amyah Bray (Manchester, N.J.) had a career-high 21 points as Caldwell women's basketball gave National #3/#4 Jefferson all it could handle, falling in a 75-73 thriller at the Newman Center in a non-league game on Tuesday. The Cougars trailed by two with under 10 seconds left for their last possession, and a layup by freshman Jahnel Lewis (Jersey City, N.J.) went in about a half-second after the final buzzer in what would have been a game-tying shot.
