Spotlights on Brookfield HS athletes
BROOKFIELD, Conn. — The student-athletes at Brookfield High School have contributed to their respective varsity teams for a minimum of 3 years. For two of the three it is 4 years, the other lost a year due to COVID. Each have been named captains of their respective teams. Our two female athletes both excel at 2 sports.
Nora Gravgaard
A senior, Nora is a two sport star! She has been a mainstay of the Varsity dive team all four years as well as Captain of Brookfield High’s first gymnastics team. She also stars in in the classroom having been named a SWC academic all four of her years.

Mykayla Lavery
Similar to Nora, Mykayla has starred on both the dive team as well as the new gymnastics team. She has been a captain on both teams and also has been on the dive team all four years. Her future plans are to continue her diving career at SUNY Stony Brook while studying biology.

Matt Carrozza
Matt has been a 3 year varsity wrestler. It would have been 4 if not for COVID. He has been a SWC Champion and has been named Captain of this year’s team. Matt will continue his grappling career at Trinity College in Hartford.
