Wisconsin Lutheran’s Kon Knueppel named Mr. Basketball by WBCA

The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association has named Wisconsin Lutheran senior Kon Knueppel II as the 2024 winner of the Mr. Basketball Award, according to a release Wednesday. Knueppel has led the Vikings to a 28-0 record entering the WIAA Division 2 state tournament, in which Wisconsin Lutheran holds the top overall seed in the division. The Duke commit has averaged 26.4 points, 8.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists, leading Wisconsin Lutheran in each category. His 1,941 career points entering the state tournament are also a school record.
