Softball Sweeps Series Against USC Aiken
COLUMBUS - On Senior Day in Columbus on Sunday, the Columbus State softball team defeated USC Aiken in the third game to sweep the Peach Belt Conference series. The Cougars now improve to 22-13 (13-2 PBC). USC Aiken got on board first in the top of the first inning, scoring three runs off of a two-run RBI double and a RBI single. The Pacers extended the lead to 5-0 in the third inning thanks to a home run and a fielding error by Caitlyn Canady in center field.
