Miles Sweeps Doubleheader From Benedict

FAIRFIELD, Ala. – Miles College swept a SIAC baseball doubleheader over the Benedict College Tigers on Sunday. Miles won the first game 12-2, holding the Tigers to three hits. Miles rallied to take the second game 6-5. In the second game, the Tigers came back from a 3-0 deficit to take a 4-3 lead in the sixth inning. Miles scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth for a 6-4 lead. Benedict scored a run in the seventh, and had the tying run on second base. Benedict had six hits in the second game.
