No. 3 Petrels win Jekyll by five strokes
ST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.—Jackson Hiller fired a 68 on the final round, and the No. 3 Oglethorpe men’s golf team scorched round two and won the Jekyll Island Collegiate at King and Prince Sunday. Hiller was three strokes off medalist honors, finishing third as an individual at 1 under par over the three-round event. Oglethorpe made a huge move on Saturday to move up to the lead after shooting a 6 under par 278 on the middle round. The counting scores that day were a blistering 68-69-70-71, all par or better.
