Thunder men’s tennis team edges Carroll, 5-4, for key CCIW win
New Berlin, Wis. — After getting back in the win column on Wednesday, the Wheaton men’s tennis team traveled north to Wisconsin this evening for a conference matchup against the Carroll Pioneers. Playing indoors after heavy winds prevented the match from happening on Carroll’s campus, the visiting Thunder outlasted their hosts for an important 5-4 victory and claimed their second CCIW win on the spin. Friday’s result improves Wheaton’s overall record in 2024 to 11-4 and brings the team’s four-match road stretch to an end.
