Pirates Fall Short at Vanderbilt, 14-13
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The East Carolina lacrosse team lost to Vanderbilt, 14-13, on Saturday afternoon. Regina Di Chiara and Emily Stratton scored hat tricks in the loss. As has become a familiar tale, the Pirates (3-11, 0-5 AAC) got down big and roared back before coming up short in the game. Vanderbilt (8-6, 2-2 AAC) got up 8-1 then 9-2 in the game, leading wire to wire and were led by five impressive goals by Brooke Baker.
