Softball travels to Millikin for a CCIW doubleheader

Decatur, Ill – The Wheaton softball team remained on the road Saturday for CCIW doubleheader at Millikin (16-10, 4-2 CCIW). The Big Blue swept the Thunder (12-11, 1-2 CCIW) as the hosts won the first game 6-3 and Millikin topped the Thunder 12-1 in five innings in the nightcap. The Big Blue won the first game 6-3 as the hosts scored six runs, on nine hits, with zero errors. Wheaton tallied three runs, on five hits, with two errors.
