Deberry and Mills combine for shutout in FSU’s 2-0 victory over JCSU

Smith 0 CHARLOTTE, NC --Freshman Kevana Deberry and sophomore Hannah Mills combined to throw a shutout on Saturday as the Fayetteville State Broncos blanked the Johnson C. Smith Golden Bulls 2-0. JCSU is now 3-20 overall and 0-7 in conference play. Deberry started in the circle for Fayetteville State (8-17, 2-7 CIAA), going five shutout innings while giving up five hits, walking one, and striking out four.
