Ella Chancey Named American Conference Player of the Week

DENTON, Texas — Charlotte infielder Ella Chancey has been named the American Athletic Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon. The honor comes after a sensational weekend for the junior, who batted 7-for-11 (.656) five runs, six RBI, and a pair of extra-base hits against UTSA. Chancey opened the weekend by going 4-for-4 with three RBI in Friday's 10-5 win over the Roadrunners, marking her first career four-hit game.
