Sycamores push past Illinois State to claim game one of the series

TERRE HAUTE, Ind.- The Sycamores won the first game of the series on Friday afternoon against Illinois State with a score of 2-1. The Redbirds took the lead 1-0 in the second inning with bases loaded, and Bryant connected on a sacrifice fly drive in the first run of the game. Indiana State tied up the game 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Isabella Henning recorded an RBI single to left field, to score a run from Macha.
