Women’s Lacrosse Completes Comeback Win in Overtime Against Trine

Photo by Kimberly Moss KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Kalamazoo College women’s lacrosse team defeated Trine University 14-13 in overtime on Wednesday night. Kalamazoo scored the first goal 30 seconds into the game, but then Trine scored four straight goals in the first quarter to lead 4-1. The Hornets turned the momentum around in the second quarter, scoring four straight of their own to take a 5-4 lead at 7:54. The Thunder tied the game up with 1:20 remaining in the half, but Kalamazoo regained the lead with 42 seconds left for the 6-5 halftime lead. Trine turned the momentum back…
