Cougars See Win Streak Snapped in Series Opener at Campbell

BUIES CREEK, N.C. – College of Charleston had its nine-game winning streak come to an end Friday with an 11-5 loss at Campbell. The defeat drops the Cougars (29-11, 12-4 CAA) one game behind UNCW in the conference standings after the Seahawks defeated William & Mary. Northeastern pulled to within one of Charleston with a victory over Elon. The Cougars also lost for just the second time in their past 13 CAA contests while Campbell improved to 27-13 and 8-8 in the league.
