Top 5 Norris Trophy candidates for 2024-25 NHL season
(BVM) – The Vancouver Canucks were the league’s most surprising contender last season and defenseman Quinn Hughes was a catalyst for them. The former top-10 draft pick had a career year with 92 points, leading all blueliners in 2023-24. Hughes took home the Norris Trophy for his stellar campaign.
He enters the 2024-25 season as a top candidate for the honor again. No defenseman has won the award in consecutive seasons since Nicklas Lidstrom in 2006-07 and 07-08.
