CJ Donaldson transferring: 5 possible landing spots
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (BVM) – The West Virginia Mountaineers fired head coach Neal Brown following the 2024 regular season and that led to some of the team’s top players entering the NCAA transfer portal. Linebacker Josiah Trotter committed to Missouri and running back CJ Donaldson entered Thursday.
West Virginia RB CJ Donaldson Jr. plans to enter the transfer portal, sources told ESPN.

The junior playmaker can line up in the backfield or at tight end and produces at either position. Donaldson had over 800 total yards this season with 12 touchdowns.
The 6-foot-2, 238-pound offensive weapon should have plenty of options in the portal, but these are the schools that could have the best chance to land him.
