From the start, Manning has had a special relationship with head coach Steve Sarkisian. And his reputation for getting quarterbacks to play at the highest level they can also played into Manning’s decision.
Manning was looking for the best place for him, and he’s found it. Now it will be to Sarkisian and the rest of his staff to develop the next great Manning quarterback. And according to some, he already has the intangibles to be just that.
“Manning plays the game with exceptional intuition and awareness, showing the ability to command and navigate the game at a very high level,” 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Cooper Petagna said. “Entering his fourth season as a starter as a senior at Newman, Manning figures to be prepared to make an immediate impact at the next level. Projects as an All-American prospect at the next level with the potential to have his name be one of the first called in the NFL Draft.
