Wausau native Jace Baumann returns for fourth season with Wausau Woodchucks

WAUSAU, Wis. — Wausau area native Jace Baumann has returned to the Wausau Woodchucks for his fourth season with the club.

Baumann is a right-handed relief pitcher from Mosinee who played his college ball at the University of Wisconsin – Stout.

While in college, Baumann was a reliable pitcher in all areas for the Blue Devils. Bauman made ten appearances in the 2022 college season, starting eight games and throwing two complete games, with both a shutout and a save. During his senior season, he posted 49 strikeouts in 59.1 innings pitched.
The Wausau Woodchucks are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League.
