Nick Boyd transferring: 5 landing spots for SDSU’s top scorer
SAN DIEGO (BVM) — Following one season at San Diego State, guard Nick Boyd informed Aztecs head coach Brian Dutcher that he was entering the transfer portal.
Boyd spent the first four seasons of his collegiate career at Florida Atlantic, beginning that stretch as an unranked recruit out of New Jersey’s Don Bosco Prep. In 2023, Boyd sank the game-winning shot that gave the Owls their first-ever NCAA Tournament victory during a run that ended in the Final Four.
Boyd paced San Diego State in scoring (13.4 points per game) and assists (3.9) while starting all 31 games. Where could the second-team All-Mountain West honoree wind up next season?
