Texas-based team wins Junior League Baseball World Series Championship

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Congratulations to our own United States Junior League Baseball World Series Champions.

The journey has been incredible for each one of you, the supportive coaches and families that shared this journey with you.

The memories between 13 boys that will last a lifetime and connect you as brothers forever will never be broken for your accomplishment is a frozen moment in time.

You started this journey like any other season opener, earning your spot to play for the All-Star Team that represented the top players in the league. One would say an opportunity to play out the season a little longer but something magical happened. A group of players that believed in themselves and each other. You dominated District, and Sectionals and became the Southwest Champions. You went to Taylor, MI, and played to win earning the title of United States Junior League Baseball World Series Champions to represent the United States as the best team. What an amazing season that words can never truly define in all its glory.

We are proud of your as your community, your Great State of Texas, and your United States of America.

You knocked it out of the park!!

I was told I would never make it because I’m too short. Well, I’m still too short, but I’ve got 10 All-Star games, two World Series championships, and I’m a very happy and contented guy.
