WBB RECAP: Gryphons Defence Leads the Way in 63-49 Win over Laurier

GUELPH, Ont. – The Gryphons women’s basketball team wins their 14th game of the season as they defeat the Laurier Golden Hawks 63-49 from the Guelph Gryphons Athletics Centre on Wednesday night (Jan. 21). Guelph was in control of the game throughout the night as they were in the lead for the majority of the game, only trailing once when Laurier was leading 3-0. The Gryphons defence led the way with another impressive performance, holding the Golden Hawks to 30.6% shooting from the field and had 15 steals while forcing 23 turnovers.
