Bears drop nailbiter in penultimate home game of their season

NEW LONDON, Conn. — Saturday afternoon, Coast Guard women’s basketball suffered their second straight loss. Hosting fellow NEWMAC opponent MIT, Coast Guard would lose a nailbiter 70-65 despite leading for over half of the game. The MIT Engineers jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the first minute and a half of the first quarter.
