Naibel Noriega Named Little East Women’s Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Women’s Track and Field (Indoor & Outdoor) 4/20/2026 1:19:00 PM Providence, R.I.— Rhode Island College freshman Naibel Noriega (Providence, R.I.) was named the Little East Women’s Rookie Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at Eastern Connecticut’s Bonnie Edmondson Classic on April 17. It is the third time this spring that Noriega has earned this award. She finished first in both the 400m (58.48) and the 4x100m relay (48.60).
