Avery Thielman Named MAC Player of the Week

CLEVELAND – Western Michigan senior first baseman Avery Thielman has been named the MAC Player of the Week for the week ending on April 19, the league office announced on Monday. Thielman is the first Bronco to receive a Player of the Week honor this season. Thielman had a big weekend at the plate for the Broncos in their series win at Eastern Michigan, going 7-for-12 (.583) with three home runs, eight RBIs, a .643 on-base percentage and a 1.417 slugging percentage against the Eagles.
