Cowgirls Rally Past Lobos to Open Postseason

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (April 22, 2026) – The No. 8 seed Wyoming Cowgirls rallied for a 4-2 victory Wednesday afternoon over ninth-seeded New Mexico in the opening round of the Credit Union 1 Mountain West Tennis Championships. After dropping the Doubles Point to fall behind early, the Cowgirls took care of business in singles to advance to Thursday's quarterfinals. With the win, the Cowgirls have advanced to at least the quarterfinal round at the MW tennis tournament in every tournament since 2008.
