Beaver baseball falls in postseason opener to Minnesota State
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- The Minot State Beavers were unable to get a clutch hit with runners in scoring position against Minnesota State pitcher junior Mack Crowley on Wednesday, despite recording eight hits, and were shut out 9-0 by the No. 16 Mavericks in the opener for both teams at the NSIC Tournament. With the loss, Minot State (26-24) now faces in-state rival Mary on Thursday at noon in an elimination game. The Marauders fell 6-2 to Winona State in their opening game.
