Women’s Tennis Signs Transfer Izzy Rotaru

FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason women's tennis has added sophomore transfer student-athlete Izzy Rotaru to its roster ahead of the 2026-27 season, Head Coach Steve Curtis announced. Rotaru joins the Patriots after a standout freshman season at University of Mary Washington, where she posted a 16-4 singles record while competing primarily in the top singles positions for the Eagles. In doubles play, she compiled a 14-5 overall record alongside multiple partners during the 2025-26 campaign.
