Dancsok and Schmiedel Named 2025-26 CSCAA Scholar All-Americans

FAIRBANKS – Dorka Dancsok and Cosima Schmiedel of the Alaska Nanooks swimming team garnered 2025-26 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-American accolades on Thursday. Dancsok earned First Team honors, while Schmiedel was named to the Second Team. “Dorka and Cosima being selected for this award shows how much care they put into their work in the pool and in the classroom,” said assistant swim coach Logan Indest. “I am glad they were able to represent UAF nationally for their excellence academically and athletically.” Last season, Dancsok became the first Nanook to compete in the NCAA…
