Helmer announces his decision to step away from Edgewood University women’s soccer

MADISON, Wis. – Edgewood University women’s soccer head coach Derek Helmer announced his decision that the 2025 season was his final season with the Eagles. Helmer led the women’s program since 2019, winning 60 games. Helmer returned the Eagles to the NACC Tournament during the 2020, 2021, 2023, and 2025 seasons. In 2025, the Eagles competed in the NACC Tournament Semifinal and posted the most wins (15) since the 2013 season.
