MLB tabs Herrera, Martinez, Rafaela as replacements for All-Star Game

Three more players across baseball got their call to the All-Star Game on Friday. Tampa Bay Rays right-hander Nick Martinez, Boston Red Sox outfielder Ceddanne Rafaela and St. Louis Cardinals catcher Iván Herrera were all named all-star replacements ahead of Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia (7:30 p.m. ET / 4:30 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+). Martinez and Rafaela were tabbed to replace the injured Ranger Suarez and Aaron Judge on the American League squad.
