Eric Nachtsheim selected in 6th round by SF Giants

LAKE CHARLES – McNeese All-American pitcher Eric Nachtsheim got the call from the MLB on Sunday when he was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the sixth round as the 179th overall pick. The Southland Conference Relief Pitcher of the Year and first team All-SLC selection, Nachtsheim posted an 8-4 record with a 3.39 ERA this past season for the Cowboys both in starting and relief roles.
