Baseball picks up ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

Brad Clift GREENSBORO, N.C. — The United States Coast Guard Academy baseball team has been recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) for their efforts on the field and in the classroom by receiving the organization’s annual Team Academic Excellence Award. Over 500 collegiate programs were named recipients of the honor, which recognizes ABCA member programs that posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year.
