Men’s basketball adds Bonilla to 2026-27 recruiting class

CASTINE, Maine — The Maine Maritime Academy Men’s Basketball program is excited to announce the addition of Miles Bonilla to its 2026 recruiting class, the second under Head Coach Cedric Gillette. Bonilla, a 6’4″ wing from Santa Clara, California, joins the Mariners after spending the past season at Foothill College. A team captain and one of the top perimeter shooters on the roster, Bonilla averaged 5.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game while shooting an impressive 37% from three-point range.
