Schmidt, Duax Put Huskies Past Terriers In Home-Opener

BROOKLINE, Mass. - Northeastern men's soccer hosted its' home opener against cross-town rival Boston University on Friday, outlasting the Terriers 2-1. With the win, Northeastern moves 2-1-0 on the season. The Huskies opened the goal scoring in the 32nd minute with sophomore Will Schmidt putting a shot past the BU goalkeeper in the lower left corner. A BU corner in the 45th minute set all things even at 1-1.
