Men’s Soccer Blanks Bucknell, 2-0

Lewisburg, Pa. – Today was Fordham men’s soccer head coach Carlo Acquista ‘s birthday and the Rams celebrated by scoring their first two goals of the year in a 2-0 shutout of Bucknell University at Emmitt Field at Holmes Stadium. With the win, Fordham improves to 1-1-1 on the season while Bucknell falls to 0-3-0. After a scoreless first half, Fordham got on the board early in the second when freshman Marco Cantalapiedra dribbled to the top of the 18-yard box and got off a blast that beat the Bucknell keeper to the left post.
