Three Harvard Rowing Alums Medal at World Championships

AMSTERDAM -- Three Harvard men's heavyweight rowing alums medaled at the World Championships in The Netherlands over the weekend. Pieter Quinton '20 and Team USA's fours took home gold on Saturday, while a pair of former Harvard rowers medaled with Team Great Britain. In the men's 4- final, Quinton and the United States finished in 5:41.57; edging the host Netherlands by 0.27 seconds. In the same race, GBR and Douwe de Graaf '23 took the bronze in 5:44.16. On Sunday, Great Britain and Gabriel Obholzer '25 earned silver in the eights; just 0.06 seconds behind the hosts.
