Field Hockey Tops Moravian in Season-Opener

ST. DAVIDS, Pa.— Eastern University Field Hockey scored in each of the first three periods on the way to a 3-2 season-opening win over the visiting Moravian University Greyhounds. First-year defender Lydia Ehst scored what turned out to be the game-winner when she broke a 2-2 tie with a rebound effort in the 42nd minute. All three Eastern goals came on rebounds of shots that tested the Moravian goal.
