Cook, Nunes named MU Athletes of the Month

Indianapolis — Marian University volleyball outside hitter Chloe Cook and men’s soccer forward Gustavo Nunes were named Marian Athletes of the Month for August, the department announced Thursday. Cook entered the month of September ranked in the top five in the NAIA in kills, while hitting .263 in the month of August, helping lead Marian to a 9-4 record including a win over 11th-ranked Missouri Baptist.
