Spartans set records in winning Carthage Firebird Fall Classic

The Aurora University women’s golf team set a team scoring round record and Thanpimol Tharpanawongwech set a single round record as the Spartans repeated as winners at the highly competitive Carthage College Firebird Fall Classic with a two-day score of 615 (320/295). The AU B team finished fifth out of 18 teams. Tharpanawongwech won individual medalist honors with a two-round score of 1479 (80/67) with the 67 setting a new AU and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference record for low scoring round.
