Advertiser’s boys and girls Athletes of the Week for Aug. 31-Sept. 4 presented by The Vance Law Firm

The results are in for the Montgomery Advertiser's Boys and Girls Athlete of the Week poll presented by The Vance Law Firm. Readers were given the option to vote from Sunday, Sept. 6 till noon on Thursday, Sept. 10. On the boys side of the poll, readers were given five choices between high school football players that made their mark in Week 2 of the AHSAA football season. Of the five, it was Prattville's CJ Brown that claimed the poll by receiving 2,466 votes (54%). Coming in second was Pike Road's Tavaris Capours with 1,712 votes (38%). On the girls...
