BROWN’S LATE GOAL LIFTS SCARLET RAIDERS PAST JOHNS HOPKINS
NEWARK, N.J. — The Rutgers-Newark men’s soccer team continued its unbeaten start to the season in dramatic fashion Wednesday afternoon, rallying for a 2-1 victory over Johns Hopkins at Frederick Douglass Field. The Scarlet Raiders improved to 3-0-1 on the season with the win, while Johns Hopkins fell to 2-2-1. After a scoreless opening half, Johns Hopkins broke through in the 54th minute when Dusty Dwyer found the back of the net off an assist from Connor Wilkes.
