Men’s Golf Ties for Fourth After First Round in Danville

DANVILLE, Pa. — The Golden Eagles men’s golf team finished their first day at the Collegiate Officials Challenge hosted by Bloomsburg on Saturday, tying for fourth in the field of eight after 18 holes at Frosty Valley Resort. Clarion posted a team score of 315 on Saturday, tying them with Shepherd. Kameron Kerle had a strong first round, shooting a 76 to tie for eighth place in the field with five other golfers. After shooting a 40 on the front nine Kerle found his groove on the back nine, shooting an even 36 with two birdies to offset two bogies.…
