Early goal, strong defense help Pacific extend winning streak

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Pacific senior Rissalyn Hara needed just 20 seconds to score her third goal of the season. The Boxers’ defense took it from there to complete a 1-0 shutout victory over visiting Willamette Sunday afternoon at Hanson Stadium. Hara took advantage of an early Willamette mistake when a defender collided with the Bearcats’ goalkeeper, leaving an open net. Hara finished with all five of the Boxers’ shots on goal in the win.
