Pioneers Fall in Tight Road Battle at Cal Poly Humboldt

ARCATA, Calif. – The Cal State East Bay women's soccer team battled throughout Sunday's CCAA matchup but came up just short in a 1-0 loss to Cal Poly Humboldt at College Creek Field. The result moved the Pioneers to 1-5-0 overall and 0-2-0 in conference play. Cal Poly Humboldt scored what proved to be the deciding goal in the 11th minute when Lucy Al-Chokhachy found the back of the net.
