SLU Men Place Third, Women Fifth at Azalea City Classic

SPANISH FORT, Ala . – The Southeastern Louisiana University men’s and women’s cross country teams took part in the Lions’ second meet of the season at the Azalea City Classic at Blakeley State Park Friday. The SLU men ended the 5K race in third, with the Southeastern women taking fifth in their 5K contest. Tanner Salsman was the first Lion to cross the finish line, claiming seventh place with a personal-best 15:39.1 time.
